| Well, she felt a bit better tonight, and i was able to look at her feet closely. It looks like one of her toe nail is really loose, i'm guessing she might have broke it which cause the bleeding. I will drop her off the vet on my way to work and hoping it's nothing worse. I'll also let them do the grooming for her if everthing works out. I had my german shepherd for 8 years, never visit the vet and he's strong as a horse. Just got Lisa for 8 months and this is my 2nd visit. I'm just so frustrated |

| Wow 8 years and never gone to the vet? Do you not take your dogs in for yearly check-ups and vaccinations? Vaccinations aren't needed every year but a yearly check-up is so so so important. If something is wrong you can catch it early by regular check-ups (just like with people). Yorkies and other toy breeds are definitely more high maintenance than larger breeds. I notice every single teeny thing that changes about Lacy. I get a little worried if she even coughs or her eyes or tearing too much, etc. I don't run her to the vet for every little thing, but I have had to take her in for a couple things before - like an eye infection and swollen paws (like your's). And I make sure she gets checked out at least once a year.

| Everything is A ok. Lisa just fracture her toe nail. The vet gave her some pain medication (Tramadol) and told me to keep her inside the house for a week. There was no infection whatsoever. |
