| I am not sure but I have read that females can get unrinary trac infections. Perhaps she has one. I would call the vet just in case. I do hope she is feeling better soon. Carol & Buddy |

| UTI is what I would check for. What with it being the weekend you may want to get her checked ASAP or you'll be looking at an emergency visit

| That's how Sadie was acting when she had her UTI. Eventually she was squatting every 30 seconds and peeing only a drop or two. Brought her right into the vet's office, and they put her on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Symptoms started getting better by the 2nd day on antibiotics. Try to get a sample of the urine, if you can. Good Luck!!!

| Ok if i were you i'd get that puppy to the vet. That really sounds more like a kidney infection/failure. The symptoms are increased thirst, and increased urine that is pale in color. If it were a UTI your puppy would be peeing frequently but it would be very small amounts and be very yellow in color. Here's a link that list all the symptoms. Sorry i'm not trying to worry you, just see what you think. http://www.vetprof.com/clientinfo/Ki...s/symptoms.htm |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i agree with the UTI, unless she's an older dog (tho it still maybe a uti in an older dog). take her and a urine sample to the vet so they can check it out.

| I vote that you go to the vet...It could be a UTI, but it could be something more serious. Your dog doesn't have to be older to have kidney/bladder/liver or any kind of problems. My yorkie's problems started when he was a pup. Take your baby to the vet and have them do a urinalysis and urine culture. Good luck! Keep us posted...

| please dont rush to judgement on diabetes... look at the other symptoms and if you can answer yes to them, she/he sould have a blood panel and urine check...if not...please remember a puppy bladder is only about the size of a $.25 piece... always check environment first...is the air in your house dry or too hot?? does his/her food have too much sodium?? Have you changed food recently?

| I hope that she is doing fine. The clear color is an indication of the urine being diluted which means that the kidneys are taking a break for a reason and not doing their job. I hope that it's just a slight infection that will be cleared up with meds...
