Donating YT 30K Club Member | Dumb question? The vet said to give Cali boiled chicken or ground beef. I'm not much of a cook so I don't know what to do. Do you take ground beef put it in a pan of water let it boil and for how long? With Chicken do you buy bonless skinless chicken and boil for how long? Thanks

You can actually bake chicken or hamburg... OR....you can boil chicken (boneless or Bone in) for approx. 20 mins. to 1/2 hour - OR...you can NUKE it in the microwave ( I do this for the girls - time for or ONE chicken breast - about 4 minutes) ... OR...you can throw the stuff on your BBQ have some REALLY good chicken...I'd rather give my girls chicken than hamburg because of the high fat content of HB. | |

| We just boil boned chicken for 30 minutes, then cut up the meat into small pieces for Yoda. We usually boil the chicken in batches (5 or 6 drumsticks at a time), then leave the rest in the fridge, and then cut the chicken up for Yoda and microwave it for 10 seconds (gotta give him warm food!) before serving it. |

| It can be any kind of chicken you want, I usually go for the cheaper stuff like thighs, or whats on sale at the time. With chicken, boil it till ALL the pink is gone.. something you would eat yourself. With HB get the lowest percentage of fat, and boil it in water, then strain. I usually cook it till ALMOST all the pink is gone. But watch it, because boiled HB cooks in no time flat.

The things we do for our babies...This is the safest for you and your baby..Do the boil one. Fill a pot with water and put in a couple of chicken breasts (you can store the unused ones in the refrig and then zap in microwave if you want them warmed up) and have the water come to a slow boil (not the rolling one) and let them cook about 20 minutes or until there is no pink - MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LET THE WATER BOIL OUT...and let them cool off before you serve your wonderful dinner. Are you going to add any rice? Now that is where you can use microwave rice (it has to say microwave) or the old fashion kind and there are directions on the box. \ Good Luck and hope your house is still standing...

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Thanks I boiled the rest of the chicken breasts that weren't burnt and exploded by the microwave and fried the HB and drained it well. I will boil more HB tomorrow.

| The lazy way out is to get the packaged chicken already cut into cubes and cooked at the grocery store. It shouldn't have any flavoring or anything...just plain boiled chicken. |
