| What could this mean? Ello! I've noticed that my two year old pup has been a little bloated for the last couple of days. I figured it was that she was preparing to transition into her third "heat" cycle but it has yet to come. I just noticed her ears are warmer than usual though and am a bit worried. Are these symptoms normal for when theyre about to go into cycle? I know I should take her to a vet regardless but I won't be able to at the moment and would like a little bit of peace aha. Thanks! | Welcome to YT, sorry I don't have an answer to your question. I was just curious as to why your baby girl has not been spayed. Are you planning on breeding her? Many years back I had two females that were not spayed, I had no plans on breeding them. They never got bloated before or during a heat cycle.

| Why haven't you spayed her? You increase her risk for poymentra by not spaying and even if you were to get the surgery and catch it early they could still die! Why risk it? You need to get to the vet and if everything is ok spay her.
