I use the little cesar when I have a difficult eater...pups or nursing adults both love it...I prefer using it over the wet food that has gravies...they tend to bring on the soft stools far quicker than little cesar...as in any wet food it's fed only temporary.

Try this site. I will warn you now, you will be shocked at some of the practices and items that go into 'regular' dog food. Overall, it is worth studying, if only to figure out what is really in your dog's food.

All the Blue Buffalo products seem so healthy! If my dogs ever turn their noses up at their Chicken Soup hard food, I am going to try their hard food.

Thanks for the info!!! I picked up the blue buffalo wet today!!! She ate it just fine!!! She doesn't eat very often so I need to make sure that when she does its quality food!!!!

I'm so glad she's eating it! You are right....these little guys don't eat much, so I think we should give them quality food when they do eat!

My vet said the same thing, too high in fats is what she told me and I was only mixing 1 tsp per 3 tbs and smearing it on the dry kibbles.

I listened to my vet only because I figured she knows more then me, but my little one wasn't happy at first-that was how the breeder mixed hers

, although by stopping it's use, I think it helped keeping Chloe away from the puppy food bowl!

I do the same thing Kim. It is a temporary food only but difficult eaters and quick start to interest for puppies.....it is wonderful. I found they will gulp mighty dog here too when all else fails! Great to put on weight on a thin dog too.

I like Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul. The kibbles are VERRRRRY small, so it is easier for little bitty puppies to handle. The kibbles are the same size as Science Diet Puppy kibbles. Chicken Soup is a Super Premium food....very healthy. My 2 picky eaters just LOVE it!

I have goats milk. I don't think they have any teeth so should I make a "soup" with the kibble?

I'm not a breeder, but I know my breeder started my yorkies off on canned food. Then as they get teeth start mixing the canned wet food with the dry kibbles. Maybe you could make a new thread on the "breeders" section and get some more specific responses. Sorry I'm not much help.

Well I am glad my girls stoped getting it 2 weeks ago, so thats why I had to change.. NOW i have like 10 things I got to get read of....

we only have 4 kinds of Dog food to choose from on post. either that or by it off post and not know what I am getting. (I mix it with the dry)
