| I used to use flea bombs. Be sure you vacuum, throw away the bag. I think you follow up again in 6 weeks. Buy the expensive ones, one for each room (read package directions). If you are at an apartment and they will exterminate, that would probably be better. Use frontline on the cat and dog and you shouldn't have a problem. Be careful not to use on puppy too early. Read the package - do not listen to vet on this, they gave my babies Control much to early for one, made him very sick.

| What type flea med are you using w/ her. My experience w/ Frontline and Advantage you shouldn't have to worry about the house. We treated a dog w/ it one time when fleas were REALLY bad and within days of being in the house, we were literally sweeping up dead fleas! It honestly killed all the ones in the house just by being on the dog. |

| Talk to your vet.At my vet they sell a spray that you spray on your floors/bedding.Make sure your pet is not around while you do it.I cost about 20 dollars and you spray 2 times(spray again after 2 weeks)to make sure you got the eggs that hatched. It works really good.If your vet doesn't sell it than i am sure they can at least point you in the right direction. | I had absolutely horrible flea problems with my pets when I lived in California. Almost everyone there with pets has their house and grounds sprayed monthly. Here in Spokane (with cold winters) fleas are almost unheard of. But - I certainly can understand having problems with them. If you can't control them (please do whatever your vet advises) - you'll just have to get professional help - spraying, etc. Good luck! Carol Jean |

| My indoor only cat got fleas once. We used Revolution and we litterally watched all the fleas die!!!! I swear by that product. It also helps with heartworm and earmites. Anyway, we took in a stray cat once, and sure enough, fleas. Used Revolution and it was no problem! It took care of fleas in the house and on the cats. You have to have a prescription for it, but I love it and it's worth it not to have to worry about fleas ever again! They made me so itchy! |

| My cats are indoor only and they got fleas once and I treated them with advantage and it killed them. I didn't have to do anything else. When the fleas jumped on them they died and before long I had no fleas. |

| When my cats had a flea outbreak the vet first gave me ProMeris (which didn't do much good). Then I tried Revolution and it has been working great. As for the fleas in the house, my vet told me "vacuum, vacuum, vacuum"...and empty it out when you're done each time so the fleas don't crawl back out. I also bought a flea-killing spray for the carpets and furniture, just make sure your pets don't get on the treated areas until it's dried (I just closed them off in an area and did one room at a time, then switched as it dried). Don't get frustrated (I thought it was the end of the world! ) Just keep up with the meds on the cat and keep vacuuming and spraying and they'll all die soon enough. |
