You may have different fleas in UK, but here in Texas - fleas are fleas, suppossedly they like dogs and cats best, human babies and human people - rather in that order. If you have a serious flea infestation and get rid of your pets, they will begin attacking humans. When we have a mild winter (such as last year and this, Texas is very prone to fleas.) We do not have a flea problem at this time, but I allowed TruGreen ChemLawn to do a fireant/tick/flea spray to our yard to prevent possible infestation. It is $99 with a year guarantee. We have indoor/outdoor cats, therefore I try to take the extra precautions. By the time you see a flea, your infestation is usually already bad.
