What type flea med are you using w/ her. My experience w/ Frontline and Advantage you shouldn't have to worry about the house. We treated a dog w/ it one time when fleas were REALLY bad and within days of being in the house, we were literally sweeping up dead fleas!
It honestly killed all the ones in the house just by being on the dog.
