Jenny made some comments that tell me she does not fully understand some things...such as the salmonella claim. It can and does make dogs sick. If she cannot hack reading another opinion about that, I really don't know what to say. I happen to like Jenny...there are a lot of people I like...that does not mean I have to agree with them OR their opinions. Everyone who spends enough time on this forum knows if they post and opinion, there may be other opinions. If you don't want them, then don't post. You are not going to censor me. You came along late in the game here and decided to police us (I know that because you claimed I had stated a belief that I had not stated!! ) ...I don't see that as helpful at all. It certainly is not informative as most people's posts here were. If you think this thread is out of line...instead of trying to moderate it, how about you report it and then move along?

| Yes, you must be looking in the mirror. You seem to pop up from time to time to start these things. It was a discussion but you want to make it a war. Same stuff different time. I will be reporting it from that perspective.

| Fine it wasnt a discussion because Jenny was forced to leave the thread when she was ganged up on. Call it policing the forum all you want others opinions count the same as yours on here

| Before this thread gets closed, let me say this. "The same people" as you refer to Chachi do not start threads telling people what to feed their dogs. Why? Because we don't believe in only one way to feed and we allow for individual differences and choices. Those who start these threads should be aware that theirs is NOT the best way to feed. No one has the best way....we have been saying that over and over in this thread. Start a thread like that and people WILL add their thoughts. If you don't want people to disagree, don't post it! Pretty simple. I don't start food threads for that reason...I can comprehend the fact that each person does what he/she thinks is best for his/her pup.

| IF Jenny left, it was her choice. No one ganged up on her. We simply don't agree with her thoughts on what is the BEST food. There isn't one!

| What did you report? That we have a different opinion that you don't like? I think you should report yourself for policing out of turn. I don't see moderator written under your screen name.

| I choose to feed high quality canned 2x a day and unlimited kibble. This works for me because it's cheaper and I know Lola is getting the right amount of food because she regulates it. All of my family's dogs have been fed like this and only one had a weight problem (my cousin's dog, too much people food and treats). Our dogs also lived long healthy lives despite coming from bybers and petstores and feeding them mighty dog, beneful, and beggin strips. I looked into raw due to Lola's pickyness and it's not worth exposing myself to the bacteria because I have a compromised immune system. It's extremely annoying that pet store employees and some customers continue to try to push premade raw on me and act like I'm doing my dog a disservice even after I explain my reasons. There is more than one healthy way to feed dogs, just like people. Low carb works for many people, but not for me, and that's ok. I don't really care what other people feed their dog as long as it's working for them, it isn't dangerous (mostly recalls and unbalanced homecooking) and they don't disrespect my choices. The only time I've ever fought with someone over feeding their dog was when a friend's family was raising a service dog puppy and they were feeding it chunks of butter as a treat. |

| This is the one time I agree with you Teegy! I find this thread kinda humorous now too. We Jenny and she doesn't need Chachi to try to undermine our fondness for her simply because we disagree with some ideas about diets for dogs.

| If you have a fondness for her then quit ganging up on her she was entitlted to her opinion. I agree with her this happens whenever feeding raw is mentioned it happens over and over by the same people who are no more educated than Jenny theres is just an opinion same as anyone else so let everyone have there opinion and dont use yours to undermine it that is my only grip on here

| I think it is unanimous that we all like Jenny. If my family member or best friend said that raw was the BEST food for my pups I would say everything I have on this thread. It had NOTHING to do with Jenny or a desire to jump on anyone.

| Hi chachi, I'm ok! I just had to log off to do some work...sorry for giving you the impression that I was ganged up upon. Didn't mean to whine & express my frustration, I blame it on my monthly visitor (tmi). I think this is a great thread, hope it doesn't get closed. Great discussion, from both sides, opposite sides, neutral, all colorful. I am very passionate when it comes to my dogs' health & willing to learn all I can for them. I respect everyone's opinions. That's what YT is all about, right? So let's give everyone a big hug The OP never came back, hopefully she won't feel bombarded when she logs back on to find this thread have grown to 6+ pages!
