| Google says lower back. And what are the "clinical signs"? This is the longest one minute quiz ever!

Mainly, I just wanted you to ask your vet about Atopica. I hear it works for some, and even the hair has grown back.

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Clinical signs = a narrative description of what you noticed. For example do the symptoms ease off and then get worse? Or there is an acute cycle building up to symptoms a/b/c/ and gradually healing period of xxxdays. the symptoms then go away for "x" amount of time. I first noticed Uni beginning to scratch about the time she was 13months old, at that time she was on brand abc. I noticed her scratching at her "front paws first". then her ears, then herxyx..... The hair thinning began at this time, but while the itching would eventually go away, her hair has remained thin, and beginning when she was xmonths old has become even thinner.

| Um, before I guess. I really don't remember. She's always been itchy, so I will say yes. However, what Gail posted was pretty much spot on, even though I don't know the exact dates and what food she was on at the time. She started itching, mainly her shoulders. Ripped out a lot of hair. Changed food or did something, stopped itching enough for her hair to grow back and it grew back darker, on her shoulders only. I guess this was around the time of her hair color change, so about 2 yrs? Then just always remember her scratching every now and then. Until come today, well yesterday, when it got really bad that I decided to take her in. ETA: I have seen Uni obsessively gnawing or licking at her paws on occasion, but never had I seen her scratch her ears or shake her head a lot.

| I'm catching up...the lump was a tick?!? Poor Uni. Ticks like Teddy too and gave him a pretty good bump, but thankfully, I could see the tick's body. I pray the meds and/or change of food will get rid of the itchies for Uni.

I had mine on both for about a year or two, I used a high quality Alaskan Salmon oil, and started with a small amount then gradully increased it to the recommended amount over two weeks or so. I've been considering adding it back into their diets again, at least for the winter here.
