Clinical signs = a narrative description of what you noticed. For example do the symptoms ease off and then get worse? Or there is an acute cycle building up to symptoms a/b/c/ and gradually healing period of xxxdays. the symptoms then go away for "x" amount of time.

I first noticed Uni beginning to scratch about the time she was 13months old, at that time she was on brand abc. I noticed her scratching at her "front paws first". then her ears, then herxyx..... The hair thinning began at this time, but while the itching would eventually go away, her hair has remained thin, and beginning when she was xmonths old has become even thinner.
