| Petzlife is a very popular one. I have had the most success with LEBAIII.

| Took Cali for her yearly vaccinations today and talked with her vet about her teeth. She just had a dental cleaning in July, no extractions, needed, but already she is getting funky breath. I try to brush about 3x a week and she is pretty good about it. I have been using PetzLife however have not been comfortable with the alcohol in it -- so I looked at LebaIII and noted that it has ethyl alcohol also. So I had a conversation with the vet about the best spray/gel for dental care. As it turned out she (the vet) had just come back from a 3 day dental care conference. She does not like any of the products with alcohol because of the liver & kidney issues Yorkie's have. She recommended Oral Cleansing Gel by Maxi/Guard, Addison Biological Laboratory, Inc. You can only get it from a vet I think. No alcohol or any ingredients that worry me. So I will start it tomorrow - can rub it on (like the gels) or with a brush or just put it on the back teeth. I am no expert, just did not like the alcohol stuff because of what it can do to the liver, so I am just sharing what I learned today. If anyone else has used this I would appreciate your input -- it may be new, but not sure.

| Thanks for the tip! It seems to last forever, but if I need it again I will check it out. My vet was very shocked with how well it worked and endorsed its continued use.

| My OrganicPetBoutique experience Tillie's teeth and gums are in good shape, but Bella's on the verge of needing a dental from the vet, so I'm glad this thread was started. I researched Leba III and decided to give it a try. I placed my order the evening of the 23rd on OrganicPetBoutique. While it is supposed to last several months, it is a little expensive initially @ $47.99 (on sale) for a 1oz bottle. Bc it was on sale I missed the cutoff of $49 for free shipping by $1.01, and the least costly shipping option was FedEx Home for $10.96. * On the 27th, their website said my order was still pending, so I called and emailed them for a tracking number and date of delivery. I did not receive a tracking number but was told it was shipping that day. * I received the 4oz package today in my mailbox... it was shipped USPS First Class Mail. I'm not writing this to bash OPB, but do want to give anyone who is considering ordering from them a heads-up about their shipping practices. I completely understand things happen with shipping all the time, but to overcharge for FedEx shipping when you are actually shipping USPS is not good customer service; especially since she had two opportunities to make it right. That said, I'm starting Leba tonight on the girls teeth and hope I have good news about it's effectiveness to add to this thread in a few weeks

| I started using the plaque attack a few days ago on my Yorkie and my Pom. I have already noticed that my Yorkies breath is a lot more palletable. I plan to use it twice a day for a month and then see if I see any difference in the look of their teeth. I also brush their teeth with a canine toothpaste. |

| Just got the Maxi Guard from the vet yesterday.....also had ordered the Plaque Attack. Had one of my old poms teeth cleaned yesterday. I was worried , she is 11. But she did great. Will use the other on some of the other ones that don't have much to see if I can delay the vet fee. Hope it will buy us some time. I hate putting them under. Scares me to death
