| I haven't tried it but have heard good things about it. Mine eat the original Merrick food and do well on it. I personally think all the Merrick food is good and trust the company. |

| I think Merrick is a very good company; I don't think they are owned by Diamond. I got an 8lb bag of the Whole Earth Farms food for only, like, $5 at a pet store a few months back... it was on sale since it was new. Jackson didn't like it but I gave it to my dad for his dogs! It's too many grains for my liking but I still think it's a good food.

YT 2000 Club Member | No they are not owned by diamond, they have their own plants.. you can watch a video on thier website. Merrick is a good company. Thier foods are considered 5 stars. I did have my dogs on their food and they liked it but they did have some issues nothing major. We did also try whole earth line and they liked it but they had real strong "doggy ordor" while on it so I took them off it. Other than that, I think its a good food for the price.

| I know Suzie Merrick personally from some volunteer work, and have met Garth a time or two. I have been to the plant and even seen the kennel of dogs they use to test their foods on (the dogs are treated more like pets than test subjects, and I don't want to describe what all the "testing" involves--it's not cruel, it's just gross). The Merricks are really good people--they give a lot of time and money to many different local charities. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean their food is good, but I tend to trust good people. I feed Bilbo BG because he was having issues with dry skin and itching, and his skin problems cleared up after a week or two on the food. And he loves it, which is really a big change since he always turned up his nose at kibble before. I get the small bags for $2.50 at the groomers. |

| There is a reason I posted to this because frankly I could care less what you feed but I have seen this Plant...I helped shut down 2 rendering plants in Texas. Yes lots of good ole road kill and you name it. The smell is the worst. So as for Animal testing, not all use animals and as for rendering plants not all use meat fit for rendering.JMO |

I have heard so many things since I got involved with Lifes Abundance. This kind of things make me sick. When you find legal filings and thousands of complaints, the internet must not be lying. | |
