I think Merrick is a very good company; I don't think they are owned by Diamond. I got an 8lb bag of the Whole Earth Farms food for only, like, $5 at a pet store a few months back... it was on sale since it was new. Jackson didn't like it but I gave it to my dad for his dogs! It's too many grains for my liking but I still think it's a good food.
