| Yorkie not eating at all So we switched to an other vet, because the old one didnt diagnose her properly. She just wouldn't eat anything at all, some days she will eat chicken, then the next day she wont eat. She will get sick during the night and throw up foam/bile. New vet put her on some vaccines to try and fix her tummy that he believes is the culpritt causing pain and resulting in her not eating... so far 3rd day on vaccine and she's not really eating more... he wants to look down her throat with some camera thing to see if theres something wrong with her... i have no clue if he's on the right path or not, seriously were really lost and just want our baby to start eating again anyone experience something similar that might have an answer? |

| Doing an endoscopy (camera thingy into the stomach) is probably the best next thing to do, and/or an xray. It will give him a good idea as to what may be or may not be causing her problem and is so much less invasive than exploratory surgery.... Did she have chew toys of any kind before all this started? Does she like to chew things up? Did she eat better before 2 weeks ago? Is she having regular poos?

| When you feed her and she eats willingly, how much does she actually consume? and how much do you offer her? Has she ever refused table food, and does she eat any vegetables?

Did your new vet give you a reason to do the endoscopy before doing any bloodwork? Actually, she'll need some Bloodwork done prior to any anesthesia. As a precaution, due to her size alone, I would have her Bile Acid Tested first. This tests for liver function and ability to handle anesthesia.
