| I don't know if it's a puppy thing or not but my pup did grow out of it. She is a little over a year now and has not done it from 6 months. Hopefully she will not do it again. |

and have walked through a lot of people that have this issue. And make sure you pick it up so he does not have access to it. Since he is a puppy I would suggest that you give 1 or 2 pieces around the time of each meal. The reason the pineapple works is that it changes the way the poop comes out........so if WILL NOT work in just a day or two. Basically you need to made sure that all of the poop has pineapple in it and that could take several days to a week. But at the same time you need to adjust accordingly the amount that you are feeding. Personally, I do not like the meat tenderizer because of the salt. Another thing that you could add is canned packed pumpkin to his food. That will also help. Finally, make sure you are feeding a high quality low grain dog food. If the food is high in grains, it is like making mini loaves of bread.

| You can try the "Stop Eating Poop" supplement. When the Glutamic Acid mixes with the stomach acid of your dog, it causes the poop to become bitter. It's a fine powder that you can sprinkle on the food. |

| Thanks everyone. It is just weird, he will not do it when anyone is with him. Sometimes when the kids are out in the back with him and they are not right next to him when he poops, he will eat it. If we are right there with him he will not eat it. Very frustrating. I will keep giving him the pineapple and hope that it will work soon!

| My Yorkie did it as a puppy and I couldn't break the habit even when I sprinkled cayenne pepper on his poo's. He finally broke the habit on his own. He never ate other dogs poo's when we were out, just his own, or at least what I noticed. The Vet does have a med or something to give to dog, but I refused it. I'd say wait till the dog is out of the puppy stage. Good Luck |
