It will take a while for the poop to change in taste so just keep it up. If you notice him still showing an interest just give a piece or two more. I seem to be the pineapple poop eating expert
and have walked through a lot of people that have this issue.
And make sure you pick it up so he does not have access to it.
Since he is a puppy I would suggest that you give 1 or 2 pieces around the time of each meal. The reason the pineapple works is that it changes the way the poop comes out........so if WILL NOT work in just a day or two. Basically you need to made sure that all of the poop has pineapple in it and that could take several days to a week. But at the same time you need to adjust accordingly the amount that you are feeding.
Personally, I do not like the meat tenderizer because of the salt. Another thing that you could add is canned packed pumpkin to his food. That will also help.
Finally, make sure you are feeding a high quality low grain dog food. If the food is high in grains, it is like making mini loaves of bread.
