Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | O..........M..........G..........! Who are these people? That is beyond stupidity and then to be arrogant about it. What a jerk! I'm am so sorry Honey. What about the tumor? What does that mean, another dog? Now your going to have 2 dogs? That is the wildest story on earth. You can't possibly replace a baby. Is he on crack! I just want to thonk him in the head and I don't even know him. I'm just gob-smacked myself. Love and hold your little one so your baby will heal more quickly and try your very best not to have negitive energy until precious is recovered. They can feel it. Your safe, your baby is safe (now) and out of danger. Deal with that Jackass in a couple of days. I am just horrified. Chin up, sweetie. |

| No he didnt address it at all and it does need attention. We are going to see the other vet that works there in 2 weeks, and she is going to make sure her stitches from this surgery and all is well, then we are going to start talking about removing the tumor.

| I am sure that this vet will bend over backwards to make sure your little one is taken care of but I would not assume anything! I would at least think someone, anyone involved would have looked at the chart to see what was going on. Not to mention if there was anything that they needed to be aware of medicine/drug wise. It sounds as though this surgeon would be more on the ball, but I would be leary and cautious. I wish you the best and please keep us updated.

| This is so sad. Your poor baby and she still had the tumor. wow... If the vet who did it offered you a new pup and you accepted, then there's no way you can sue him now. you all ready accepted his offer, that's why he did that. |

| He bought me another dog,and is immunizing it in the a.m. then I get to go pick it up, but Im still upset. I dont want my Zoey to be jealous, and she is my baby, and I dont want her to be upset with a new puppy around If she doesnt like to puppy,or seems jealous, I may just get rid of the new puppy.

| If you're pressing charges I would certainly NOT ACCEPT a gift from him!! Do you even want another dog? IS a new dog supposed to make it all better? what do you know about this puppy? it could be a dog with a whole new set of problems! I wouldn't accept anything from this man! I certainly hope you didn't have to pay for the spay. I hope you think things through and that your dog gets all the love and attention she needs to heal from her spay before she has to face another surgery. |

| I am shocked! OMG...that is just horrible!!.... I am so sorry for you and your baby..{{{HUGS}}}... I would NOT accept the new puppy, no way no how! Vet is arrogant, no apology? and when your sitting there in shock and disbelief, offer to buy you a new puppy? excuse me? not only did he totally screw up, but then to try and cover it all up with a new puppy?...I wouldn't trust him to move my garbage! Another thing to consider, you lil baby is sitting there, after going through a BIG ordeal, and one more to come, with the tumor.....you need some time, time to think, ajust and comfort yourself and your lil baby. Good luck, sending lots of hugs and prayers your way!!! |

| OMG! That is horrible. I hope and pray you get this all cleared up. The last thing you need is a new puppy. Especially with your baby in stitches she will be so stressed out. Think things through you'll make the right decisions for you and your baby. Sending prayers your way.

| OMG!!!!!! What the *#^&?????? BIG difference between removing a tumor and spaying. Now the poor baby has to go through a 2nd surgery. I wonder how he would like to go through that? This is a totally preventable thing. I work in a hospital and we have something called time out. You make sure you have the right patient, going for the right surgery etc........ I can't imagine a vet. surgeon doesn't do something similar. It sounds like you paid for the spay. I sure hope they don't charge you for the tumor removal. After all the spay was not the surgery. They should have eaten the cost of that surgery. I will keep your furbaby and you in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

| OMG! I have never heard of anything so ##@@ up in my life. Scentlady is absolutely right; do not accept this puppy/gift from him. It would weaken if not ruin your chances should you decide to sue. If that is what you would like to do; I would start documenting everything. You'll need that, this way you won't have to worry about forgetting/overlooking anything. Time has a way of making us forget stuff if we haven't documented it. I agree also that the cost of this surgery should have been eaten by this callous and grossly negligent vet. The good thing is your baby came through it ok. Now you just have to concentrate on her until she is better. I am so sorry that your poor baby will have to face another surgery because of this idiot. I really hope everything works out ok for you.

I didnt press charges,or anything. I had no idea what rights I had about that. Or if I could even do anything about it. I did accept the dog however, she is 2.5 pounds,8 weeks old. After I saw the little puppy I had to take her. I didnt have to pay for the spay,I refused. She is doing okay, and healing well. I was so scared bc when I picked her up from the vet that day,the vet mentioned that she was very active that day but that she needs to be in-active as possible. And idk about everyone elses, but my little yorkie-poo is not the kind to be in-active, shes a hyper little thing and wont sit still for anything. I was a little worried about that, but she seems to be doing just fine.I hate that we will have another surgery after this one heals!

Like I said,I did accept the dog. I wanted to sue but had no idea if that would be a case,or even worth it.I wished I would have been able to read all your comments, before I made my decision Im so torn about all this. The vet still never said he was sorry! It pisses me off so absolutely bad you wouldnt even believe. I want people in my area to know what happened, and people to know what kind of vet he really is. I just dont know how to go about making people aware. Thank you everyone for you thoughts and prayers! We need them!
