| You had a great idea! It is a lot easier to slice them when they are partially frozen. I have two chicken breasts in the oven. Prince can't wait!!

| Did you make the salmon jerky? If so, how did it turn out? I'm thinking about making steak jerky this weekend. I would use very lean steak and use the same procedure. Tortoisekeeper (Betty) posted a chicken cookie receipe that sounds good...chicken hearts, liver and gizzards, boiled, drained, mix with old fashioned oatmeal and baked.

| I just made a batch of the chicken jerky for Bobo. He loves them. How long do they keep in a sealed bag without being frozen? |

| I keep a weeks worth in the fridge, the rest in the freezer. When I take the frozen ones out of the freezer, I let them defrost in the fridge, on a paper towel. If you leave them in a sealed plastic bag, the condensation makes them soft. I'll be making some more on Friday. Glad Bobo loves them!!!
