Did you make the salmon jerky? If so, how did it turn out? I'm thinking about making steak jerky this weekend. I would use very lean steak and use the same procedure. Tortoisekeeper (Betty) posted a chicken cookie receipe that sounds good...chicken hearts, liver and gizzards, boiled, drained, mix with old fashioned oatmeal and baked.
