Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Plain pumkin. My dads dog just got diagnosed with IBS. The vet suggested cotage cheese, pumkin, and venison dog food. I was surprised about the cottage cheese, but it's the cultured in it. Good Luck.

| Hi and thanks......Mickey is healthy and happy now...since the diarrhea incident, I have been giving him pure pumpkin everyday and it's working fine...no more diarrhea.....no more anything, he's happy, healthy and energetic, just the way he should be. It was never suggested to me about the cottage cheese.....think I'll just leave that one alone....I do give him venison though....and chicken.....and ofcourse his pumpkin and he has perfect poops every time! Yipppeeeee!

My husband and I realized the diarrhea probably was a result of him teething. We just noticed he has about 3 new teeth coming in. I guess they're just like toddlers when teething it can cause diarrhea. I know my son and daughter went through that when they were babies. It's been so long ago, I forgot this could happen with teething. I hope he still doesn't have to go to the vet.
