| NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS -- The Second Generation. Honest opinions about it PLEASE! Since my husband is being very ignorant about my Yorkie's nutrition I had to compromise again ! I found what's good for my baby with Petco but it's too far away for him to drive up there (cheap bastard ). I went to the Base Commissary and I found a few Organic dog food - "Organix" (Adult) was one of them (didn't found for puppies) and Newman's Own Organics was the other one. I chose "Newman's Own Organics" because of the Ingredients - That's the first thing I was interested about. It has no wheat, no corn, no soy stuff. I also got Peanut "Newman's Own Organics" Chicken tiny heart treats. No wheat, no corn, no soy. Here is their official website: NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS -- The Second Generation Web Site / Newman's Own Organics Premium Pet Food I would like some honest opinions about this dog food. I am desperate and so scared right now for my fur baby. He has an upper respiratory infection (found out he had kennel cough when he was 5 weeks old too) and it spread to his tiny stomach. Doc gave him antibiotic and advised us to feed him Purina canned (stupid choice) as I mentioned in a previous thread of mine. Well, Purina is on my black list and so is Nutro. Thank you very much for reading

| Thank you for answering! I would feel much more at peace if I heard some personal experiences on this dog food. Btw. Betty'sMom, where do you go shopping for healthy food for your fur baby? I live in Warner Robins and my options are limited, unfortunately .

| Just a warning: I bought Newman's Own Organics wet food for both my dog and cat because that was the only thing remotely good for them at the Commisary over here. Both ate their first meal and both of them threw it up. I tried one more time with both of them, and again they both threw up. I'm scared to try anything else by Newman's Own. I don't know if I am the only one in this boat but twice tells me there is something in their wet food that both animals can't stomach.

| Yes, Warner Robins We just PCSed from Ramstein, Germany into Robins, GA in June. So far we love it here. Very welcoming environment. We are headed next to Japan and after that Hawaii or Guam. Where ever the AF takes us.

| My little boy threw up after his first meal of the canned Newman's. I thought maybe it was old and threw it away. Hmmmmm..... very interesting! That just happened recently. |

Every thing I've heard says skip Guam, Hawaii's expensive, and Japan is the greatest! hahaha or else I'm a bit biased. What does your husband do in the military?

| He is SSgt with a Combat unit (OPSEC). Oh, i know about Hawaii and how expensive life there is but Guam not so much. After he makes it O we're definitely considering Japan. "My little boy threw up after his first meal of the canned Newman's. I thought maybe it was old and threw it away. Hmmmmm..... very interesting! That just happened recently." So far I had no probl with Peanut and Newman's Own Organic canned food. He didn't throw it up, he doesn't cry or complain after he eats from it and he has lots of energy afterwards. I don't know what to say ... all puppies react to diffrent foods differently or Peanut is just not picky and food is food for him. God knows I'm following him around and watching him like a spy (maybe that's why he steals my flip-flops and runs away with them for a round of chewing ahahahaha). Thanks for sharing your opinion.
