Definitely come to Japan if you have the opportunity. We love it here!! We were in Italy before and absolutely loved Europe as well. Really I think you can enjoy any place you are as long as you have the right mind set.
Every thing I've heard says skip Guam, Hawaii's expensive, and Japan is the greatest! hahaha or else I'm a bit biased.
