| Home cooking is rather simple and you can make a huge amount in advance and freeze it. You MUST add supplements though. Mine are on a special diet b/c of liver issues, so it doesn't make sense for me to explain what I do, but there are lots and lots of threads talking about home cooking and supplements, lots of people here recommend the Healthy Powder that you can find in Dr. Pictarian's Book as the supplement |

Then I phased out the kibble, but I was missing supplements, that's where something like Dr. Pictarain's Health Powder would need to be added.

They get a special treat in the AM and PM (reward for poop and not eating it, gross I know, but we are finally, hopefully stopping that yucky behavior). During the week I work, so nothing else is feed during the day. On weekends I will give them a few cookies, or cereal flakes or a little yogurt during the day.

I feed Daisy, who is 2 yrs old and 9 lbs, 2 medallions in the morning and Canidae the rest of the day. And Abby, who will be 5 months on the 25 of June and weighs 3.5 lbs, 1 medallion in the morning and Canidae the rest of the day. I think Daisy would eat more if I gave it to her, but 1 medallion is all Abby will eat at a time. Just Curious...because I've thought about switching to all Raw, but I'm afraid they will get hungry. They always have a bowl of kibble available to them.

![]() My Marcel is 3.4 lbs and Wylie is 7.5 lbs; I feed 2x per day. Each meal, Marcel gets 1 1/3 medallion, Wylie gets 2. I used NV's online feeding guide at first, then adjusted as needed. Raw is very nutrient dense, so volume is much different. Nothing wrong w/ what you're doing now, though . Granted, pure raw would be better - but if you're more comfortable with the current regimen - and they're healthy, then all is well. There are a lot of benefits to just raw though - less additives, the natural enzymes are still in the meat, teeth are clean (oddly), no doggy breath, teeny/non-smelly poos, etcetera.
