I think Daisy would eat more if I gave it to her, but 1 medallion is all Abby will eat at a time.
Just Curious...because I've thought about switching to all Raw, but I'm afraid they will get hungry.
They always have a bowl of kibble available to them. |
Hi Tammy!
My Marcel is 3.4 lbs and Wylie is 7.5 lbs; I feed 2x per day. Each meal, Marcel gets 1 1/3 medallion, Wylie gets 2. I used NV's online feeding guide at first, then adjusted as needed. Raw is very nutrient dense, so volume is much different.
Nothing wrong w/ what you're doing now, though

. Granted, pure raw would be better - but if you're more comfortable with the current regimen - and they're healthy, then all is well. There are a lot of benefits to just raw though - less additives, the natural enzymes are still in the meat, teeth are clean (oddly), no doggy breath, teeny/non-smelly poos, etcetera.
