So, homecooked food is far superior to kibble. Kibble is just real food (or "human food" - whatever you want to call it) that is processed, all the nutrients taken out, and then a bunch of additives thrown back in to replace the missing nutrients. Weird huh? So, anytime you can feed something LESS processed - it's a good thing. Canned dog food is better than kibble. Homecooked is better than canned. And, in my book, Raw is best of all.
I feed Natures Variety Raw Frozen Medallions - my boys have never been healthier. |
How much do your boys weigh and how many medallions do they eat in a day or at each feeding.
I feed Daisy, who is 2 yrs old and 9 lbs, 2 medallions in the morning and Canidae the rest of the day.
And Abby, who will be 5 months on the 25 of June and weighs 3.5 lbs, 1 medallion in the morning and Canidae the rest of the day.
I think Daisy would eat more if I gave it to her, but 1 medallion is all Abby will eat at a time.
Just Curious...because I've thought about switching to all Raw, but I'm afraid they will get hungry.
They always have a bowl of kibble available to them.
