| Bad cut Ok so... It took my awhile to find a good groomer that i trusted after the whole petco incident. Anyway... I took Lola today to get a sanitary trim and her ears shaved... what did I get after ... A yorkie with a shaved face, hair long on the body and of course a harry butt... I am so furious right now. I payed and left... I shouldn't have payed. HOW HARD IS IT TO FIND A GOOD GROOMER WHO DOESN'T MAKE YOUR YORKIE'S HAIR UGLY?

| I dont understand my dear... Why in the world would you pay for a service that you didnt get?!? They did not do anything that you asked them to do... Infact they did the total opposite! I'd be furious and would have given them a piece of my mind the moment they attempted to ask for $$$. Another YT'er had the same problem the other day... And quite frankly, I think that when you guys continue to pay for horrible service, it only makes the situation that much worse for the rest of us. If your not making them pay for THIER error, they continue to think they can do whatever they want - cause the bottom line is that, ur gonna pay it anyway!?! Stand up for yourselves and ur pups!!!

| I feel your pain !!!!! I took Teddy to petsmart for his first two grooms and the first one was fine, but the second time they told me they had to almost shave his belly because he was too matted (which was bull!!!) and when I took him to a real groomer the other day, she was horrified at what they did to him because he was sooooo uneven everywhere that she suggested doing a puppy cut and basically starting over. He's pretty short now, but the hair is starting to grow back and she even gave me $5 off of that groom and the next one to make up for the petsmart disaster. She also begged me never to take him there again because its an assembly line, not a real groomer, and she said she has seen some dogs traumatized from those places so badly that they freak out when she tries to groom them. Thankfully, Teddy is ok, he didn't give her any trouble at all. the moral of the story is keep looking, there are good reputable groomers out there who actually care about their clients. good luck !!! |

| I called the groomer after I vented with this post. I told her how upset I was about the cut. She was defensive at first, she said Lola was squriming while she was cutting her face... then I said I didn't ask for her face to be cut. Then she admitted that she forgot that I had told her and she cut her hair. She offered to drive the mobile van to my house and fix lola's behind and a discount on the next cut.

Kaya's first owner always took her to Petsmart for grooming and bathing. When I got her, she was TERRIFIED of baths and grooming. I didn't give up and she will at least stand still now but she still shakes and cowers. I don't know what the heck happened to her there. | |

| I've heard enough horror stories on here about PetSmart and PetCo haircuts that I'd never chance it. I just dropped mine off at a friend of mine that's a groomer. I hope it comes out ok, because it would be hard to get in a fight with a friend. Maybe after these haircuts she won't be a friend. Only kidding.

| I'm starting to get used to her cut... I ordered a dvd and I am going to start grooming her myself. I tried before after she got a collapsed trachea from petco grooming, but I was unsucessful. I wish I could find a great groomer who I could feel safe leaving her with. Thank you guys for being there... It seems like a lot of furkids on here have gotten a bad cut in the last few weeks.
