| I use Chris Christenson's 20mm gold pin brush. We love it! We also have the CC face comb and the CC fine rat tail comb.

| No slicker brushes for Yorkies! It actually breaks & damages their skin & hair. Use any pin brush, I got mine @ Target for $3. The pins don't push in, it doesn't cause static, & best of all, it's inexpensive.

| I recently ordered a Maden pin brush online and they're great. I was using one that I got from Petedge (about 10.00) and there's no comparison between the two. Whichever you decide on, make sure it's ball tipped. Before it was a struggle to brush Bailey and now he loves it.

| I didn't know they even made face combs. Bailey hates for me to do anything to his face so do you think this would help? I use the Maden pin brush on his beard but have to be so careful as to not touch his nose.

| I am new to this grooming a dog thing, since my other dogs are mutts I shave them, lol, but with Princess (the yorkie) when I am brushing her little face I will cover her nose with two fingers so I dont accidentally jab her while I comb with the other. She seems to tolerate it better that way. Hope that helps...

| When I was first looking for a good comb, this is the one others on YT recommended the most. I really like this comb - I actually use it for the body, too. My babies don't like me working on their faces either, but this comb makes it much easier. It is the CC #006 Buttercomb 5" Face/Feet.

| Wow! I was told to use the slicker brush from my breeder. I am so glad this topic came up. I appreciate the advice. |
