I am new to this grooming a dog thing, since my other dogs are mutts I shave them, lol, but with Princess (the yorkie) when I am brushing her little face I will cover her nose with two fingers so I dont accidentally jab her while I comb with the other. She seems to tolerate it better that way. Hope that helps...
