What is a good brush I am wondering what is a good brush to use. I don't want to break there hair off, The one I have is just ok but would like to know what is some great ones. Thanks |
I use a slicker brush on my little guy and he does great with it.:animal-pa |
I use Chris Christenson's 20mm gold pin brush. We love it! We also have the CC face comb and the CC fine rat tail comb. |
No slicker brushes for Yorkies! It actually breaks & damages their skin & hair. Use any pin brush, I got mine @ Target for $3. The pins don't push in, it doesn't cause static, & best of all, it's inexpensive. :D |
I recently ordered a Maden pin brush online and they're great. I was using one that I got from Petedge (about 10.00) and there's no comparison between the two. Whichever you decide on, make sure it's ball tipped. Before it was a struggle to brush Bailey and now he loves it. |

I am new to this grooming a dog thing, since my other dogs are mutts I shave them, lol, but with Princess (the yorkie) when I am brushing her little face I will cover her nose with two fingers so I dont accidentally jab her while I comb with the other. She seems to tolerate it better that way. Hope that helps... |
