| I just brought Ava to a new groomer two weeks ago that I met while watching a dog show. She is a member of a group who receives products to try before they are sold so she can rate their performance. She showed me a new nail trimmer that looks exactly like the peticure one and she used it on Ava to show me how it would work. It did a fantastic job and she showed me that since it has the plastic protective cover it would prevent the hair on the leg from getting caught in the spinning shaft. She is supposed to let me know when it will be available to buy and I will definately get one. I will try to call her tomorrow and see if its the same one she used because I don't remember the name on it.

| I got mine yesterday in the mail!!!! I was able to trim Angel's front paws all by myself!!! There are several different size "holes" to put the nail in. You do still need to watch the hair, just in case. They suggest a specific hold when doing the nails that I didn't read till after I did Angel's. I still couldn't do Sissy's myself, but it worked well. I'm going to try the "hold" suggested and see what happens. So far, I like this product better than my regular dremmel. When you use a dremmel type file, you are filing from the top of the nail backward, not side to side. No jagged edges are left.

| I think I want one too. How long does it take to do their nails with it? It's easy? I hate doing Zoe's nails because I'm afraid I'll hurt her and my older dog, I don't even try, I take her to have them done because she cries and screams like I am hurting her even when I'm not. It makes me too nervous because I never know when if she's really hurt or just being dramatic. |

| I don't have one but I have seen them used. I would be curious to know how they keep from getting too close. I will be watching the reviews. |

| Did you all order the "Elite" or the "Petite"??? The Elite is backordered and there's no picture or description to compare witht the Petite. I think the Petite would be ok as it's for dogs/cats under 15 pounds but I was just wondering what the difference was.

| I got the Petite. I believe it was $29.99. I don't know what the difference is, but the petite is the right size for these guys.

BANNED! | I ordered the elite cause it works for my border collie and the yorkies. The petite would not allow my border collies bigger sized nails to fit in the plastic nail cover. |

| Thanks Ladies. So it's just about the size of the openings for the nails. Great! I'm off to order the Petite. My babies need their nails done sooo badly. I try to trim a little at a time, but my Max could climb air to get away from those clippers.

BANNED! | Ok so I finally got mine in the mail. I have to say I Love It!!! I have only tried it on my Border Collie so far and it was so easy to use. There was no hair getting caught because the guard only allowed the nail to fit into the hole. It has an adjustable speed setting and made the nail very smooth so I don't have to worry about her poking a hole in my leather couch anymore. |
