| I am keeping your son in my prayers. Today, you will know what is happening and I pray it is easily treatable. Hugs to you and your family.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Update So the doctor says for us to pray it's a benign brain tumor as that is the best case scenario If it is not a brain tumor, it's a 50% chance its a fatal degenerative disease and a 25% chance it's a degenerative eye disease that will cause him to go blind. We are devastated...they were not able to do the MRI today or we would already know if it's a tumor...they had to reschedule that until Friday. I have no idea how to deal with this... |

| I'm very sorry that you didn't get better news. Please don't give up hope. Lean on us to help you cope , and we will also pray for your son and you. I wish there was something more I could do to help, but please know that I care.

| Sick son My, what a terrible shock for this to happen so suddenly and in one so very young. You must be devastated waiting for the definitive tests and diagnosis. Thinking of you and praying hard that whatever it turns out to be is curable or treatable. Your family must be in shock and the waiting so hard to bear. Big hugs, Dot. |

| I'm so sorry to read about your precious son's symptoms. Hopefully it is a benign tumor as I understand once those are removed, they rarely grow back. I'll sure be bombarding Heaven with prayers that whatever is going on is benign and treatable. Any chance he has some type of occult or unknown head injury that occurred a few weeks ago - something he totally discounted or fell out of bed in the night, etc.? Spend your time with your son keeping him busy and distracted if he feels well enough. Be sure he doesn't hole up and withdraw. The only way I know how to deal with scary times is to let others in to help and don't bottle feelings up and withdraw. Leaning on our faith, our core beliefs in God for courage and strength can provide a huge bulwark against fear. Reach out to your son's pastor and church, the rest of the family, dearest friends and get him talking, keep him as busy as he feels like playing games, watching movies with you or whatever it takes. Most people want to crawl in a hole when faced with frightening symptoms or fearful times. You never know how people get through awful times until you hear them tell of how they made it and most of them say they could never have done it alone, without their faith, the support of other totally amazing people who just seem to show up and don't let you go it alone and professionals who knew what they were doing.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | The most horrible part at the moment is that my son keeps saying if it's a degenerative disease he is contemplating suicide. I don't know how to help him but if he is serious, I may have to tell the doctors to hold him until we can get help for him. I'm praying so hard it's curable...thank you all. |

| Sending prayers for strength for your family. Is it too early to start with therapy, so he can just vent and maybe have someone to talk things out with? Sometimes it's easier to talk to a sympathetic stranger. Not that he doesn't love, need or trust you, but he won't feel the need to spare feelings with a stranger. It wouldn't hurt to find a support group for you as well. You need to vent your anger and fears, too. Aww, my heart is bleeding for you all. |

| I am praying along with all others. Jeanie has some great advice on what can help your son get through all this stressful time. Prayers and thoughts to your son, you and your family.
