| You know, I am not sure that I posted about Gabby on YT. I need to look at her thread. I am sure I did..but who knows. It has been a difficult year. Losing her was terribly sad...it was right after the dog show. Thankfully, Miss Gabby got to enjoy one more year there. She loved it!

| Gabby was such a sweet little girl despite her physical problems. I always looked forward to hearing about her and loved that she got her wheels. My daughters and I will certainly continue praying for you to be restored to perfect health.

| YT Addict | I like others missed this thread. Sorry to hear about Gabby, but so glad to hear that you are doing well. You have been doing so much, I was surprised to hear that you were even sick. You are awesome!

| Linda, I am so, so sorry that I missed this thread. I actually purposely avoid the 'Special Thoughts Needed' part of the forum, as I have so much going on within my own family that's yucky - how selfish is that? ![]() But please accept very belated International (!!!) thoughts and prayers from me - and I'm so happy to read that things are on the up for you - long may that continue God bless you, Sally x |

| Thanks, Sally! Don't feel badly...I am like you and avoid things that depress me. RIP is one that I have a hard time looking at.

| Just seeing this and understanding that little Gabby is gone. I am so sorry that she lost her battle for life - I think I know how much you must be hurting. I'm like Sally and avoid some of the forums due to fear of what I will see that I cannot deal with right now so never read about Gabby. I pray for you and our dogs here every day but not every prayer is answered just the way I'd like, though many are. Wish it could have been a better outcome for little Gabby. R.I.P., Gabby.

| Thank you everyone. You know Gabby was a senior pup when she came to me...she was estimated to be 12 at that time. I had her for 2.5 years after that. She is very missed.

| Sigh...here we go again. Trying very hard to not freak out. Last year was easier for me to stay positive....I don't know why; but I know I have to get that frame of mind back. Lately I have been slammed again with sick foster pups. Timmy just had surgery, Kandi is having surgery this Thursday and Tootsie is being evaluated for possible DI. So, in keeping with my history, I now have my own issues concurrent with my pups: I have had anemia since last year and they were recently trying B-12 injections; but yesterday when I saw the oncologist/hematologist she expressed concern because my levels just are not improving. Not getting worse, but certainly not better. Everything is out of whack, red and white cells, platelets... UGH So, they are scheduling me for a bone marrow biopsy. I asked her what her suspicion was and she mentioned MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome). This is what Robin Roberts recently was treated for and it looked pretty awful. I am trying really hard not to think about it and google it but I keep going back. I simply cannot do treatments that take me away from my pups for a month. Just would never work. I am begging for prayers...I don't know if I can pray not to have it...actually I know I cannot....but I need prayers please just to accept whatever is coming my way. My brother told me last night he would come down if needed; but I really, really hate to inconvenience people with my pups. OK...enough complaining. I am going to sit down now and pay bills. That should sidetrack me for a bit. hah

| Linda, sending prayers that all turns out well and that you start getting better. I know you have so much stress with caring for the dogs and worrying about your own health. Please take care of yourself. I pray that you will get someone to help you with the dogs if you do have to have treatments.

Linda I am so sorry to hear this as I can understand your not wanting to leave your pups and the responsibility behind that. You do so much and help so many that when you need it well I'm glad you have someone who you can lean on if that is what it comes down to. Sending many prayers for this to be the best it can be with minimal complications. Well hear your complaints anytime. Hugs to you.
