| I will be praying for your little boy. I know what it is like to have a sick little boy. I also know what it is like to have a son that loves to sing to Jesus. My son is the most comfortable when he has a microphone in his hand. He has been singing since he could talk. He loves to sing the songs from the movie lifted. If you have not seen it you need to see it. I have always said since Gabriel was born God had a purpose for him, and I believe he has a purpose for Samuel as well. My mom always told me the devil knows Gabriel is one of Gods Angels and he will do something big for God one day, so he has to throw everything he can at him to try to stop him, but I know that we serve a Great God and he can make miracles happen. A little backround on Gabriel. Gabriel was taken 4 weeks early. As a baby he was rushed numerous times to the hospital for trouble breathing. By the time he was 3 he had already been hospitalized several times for digestive problems that we still do not have a diagnosis for. At the age of 2 he fell and broke his femur. They put us through the wringer because they said he couldn't have broke it on his own. That got resolved real quick when my pediatrician handed them his medical file. At the age of 1 Gabriel was still wearing newborn to 0-3 month clothes. At 2 he was wearing 3-6 months and some 6-9 months. He is now 6 and weighs the same as his 3 year old sister, and is just a little bit taller than her. We still have no diagnoses on him. He can eat good for awhile and then everything he eats he will throw up and lose the weight he fought so hard to gain. If I bought clothes to fit his waist he would have to wear an 18-24 months, but I have to find adjustable waist to make anything work. I truly believe my little boy and your little boy will do something big for God and that God has a miracle in store for little Samuel.

| I pray that your beautiful, special little boy gets better and that you can be free from your back pain. Sammie has learned a great deal about love and courage from you. The Prevacid is probably helping him a lot if he is eating pineapple. |

| For those of you who are following along, I wanted to give a quick update on Sam. We went to the pediatrician today and she was very supportive and encouraging as she always is. When she found out we still hadn't heard from the neurosurgeon, she went into her office, got them on the phone and called me in to talk with the lady to get his appointment scheduled. While doing this my awesome pediatrician was down on her knees (in a skirt) crawling around her office and playing football with Sam ! I honestly can't tell you which of them had the most fun! The young lady on the phone was laughing at the two of them and said she has got to meet Mr. Samuel (he draws everyone in somehow). All that said he will go to The neurosurgeon next Wednesday. We will sit down and see what she thinks, she is suspossed to be good and is the surgeon who has operated on other Chiari children in this area. This was the pediatrician's first time seeing him since the diagnosis and she said Samuel is doing well, he's holding his weight steady with pedia sure, continue with OT and speech. She said we won't rush into anything, we will take this slow and do what's BEST for SAMUEL. We will be adding a nutritionist to this as well, so that we can look at other ways of getting things that he needs into his body, through juices, shakes, smoothies etc. We also think the Previcid is helping his little tummy because he's still eating pineapples, not as much as he did the first day, but a few bites periodically and it's very small steps, but we will take it. One last thing, because Sammie has sensory issues he perceives pain differently and his body over reacts to it. She said this will have to be taken into account also when we decide if surgery is BEST for SAM. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers.

| There is a possibility that with surgery his pain perception may change drastically. The Chiari may be causing this problem as well. |
