Thanks. No change here. I feel he is giving up he has made some comments about this is no way to live etc. I am trying to keep him fighting but he has been feeling sick for a long time now and is worn out. |
Continuing prayers for you and Ken. |
I just want to let you know that you and your husband are in my thoughts and my prayers constantly. You have been such an amazing wife to your husband and he is lucky to have you. I quit my job and took care of my mom when she was at home and I know how much work and how tiring it is, but you do it out of love and I am sure he is thankful for you every moment. My mom used a hospital bed for a year in the house and it made things a lot easier for her and we set it up in the family room so she was still able to be part of everything. Give your babies a cuddle, Sophie lifted my spirits when I needed them and she still does now. Take care of yourself and I will keep praying for both of you. |

Keeping the prayers going your way! |
Thanks. Ken had hydration and blood work today. His potassium was 2.7 (very low) and his platelets where very low. They went from 71 a week ago which is low to 27. So we have to go back tomorrow for additional hydration with potassium and check his platelets. If they go to 20 they will transfuse platelets. We see the Physicians Assistant on Wednesday so maybe I'll find out what's going on. Prayers are so appreciated. |
I'm sure is Ken is worn down in every way. Does he have ministerial or psychiatric counseling at this point to help him? I pray they are keeping him comfortable but don't know if that is possible. Does he ever get complete pain relief? I know the weakness must be profound, also. It's so hard to think what he's going through every waking moment. Keeping you both in my prayers day & night, Patti. |
