Please pray for my daughter

Thank you so much for your prayers. They did not do the surgery on Michelle. At this point she is not sure what they are going to do. She has not even spoken to a doctor in 3 days. She is on strong iv antibiotics. The nurses keep telling her that emergencies keep coming up and the doctors are over loaded. The good news is that Michelle is starting to feel better again. The swelling in her neck has gone down, the fluids are not leaking from her head and this evening her head is not hurting. The nurses did tell Michelle that sometimes these leaks will heal themselves. We can only pray that is what is happening.

Now for some more bad news....Shawn, Michelle's 10 year old son broke his arm. It is not a bad break but he will have to go to Texas Children's Hospital on Monday to see a doctor there. It is just in a temporary cast for now.

Well, Michelle had a scare this afternoon. She was just laying in bed when all of a sudden her head started swelling really bad. It really scared her because she could feel the fluids moving down her neck and in the throat area. Then the fluids started squirting out of her head. Well, that got their attention. Michelle said the doctor was there in 5 minutes and he sat and talked to her for 15 minutes. He told her that they know from the cat scan there is a tear that has to be repaired. He said it will not heal by itself. The doctor told Michelle they will be watching her close and hopefully they will do the surgery next week. Michelle feels like it might be pretty soon. The nurses and doctor were really concerned about her. It really scared me hearing Michelle talk about how weird her head feels. My poor baby.

The leak in Michelle's head has gotten much worse the last couple of days. She is scheduled to have it repaired in the morning. They will have to cut her skull open again so it will be a pretty serious surgery but hopefully it should not take as long as the first surgery because this time they won't be messing with her brain. Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear this and although I have not been on YT in some time I have been thinking and praying for both of you. I will remember her tomorrow with many more prayers. How are you holding up, this has to be so difficult. I hope God keeps you and Michelle close to him and filled with his love.

I spoke with David and he said Michelle is in surgery. The surgery should last around 4 hours so hopefully around 1 p.m. we will hear some good news. Please keep those prayers coming.
