I want to thank you all again for your continued thoughts and prayers. Michelle goes back to the doctor on Friday so we will be praying for a good report. Michelle continues to slowly improve but when I spoke with her yesterday she said the headaches continue and sometimes they are really bad. Michelle went to church on Sunday for a little while. She said she was not able to stay for the whole service but she was happy to see everyone. I will give another update after Michelle has seen her doctor. Thanks to all of you.

Well, the news is not good. The doctor's told Michelle she will need another surgery and the next surgery will be riskier than the last one. They will have to cut open the side of her head above her ear and try to get to the rest of the tumor. They said her tumor was much bigger than they had expect and that if they don't do this next surgery that it will continue to grow and kill her. Needless to say Michelle was very upset and me. We both cried on the phone. This just is not fair, we thought the worst was behind her. Michelle said she does not think she will live through another surgery. She does not know how soon they will want to do the next surgery but the doctor just said sometime after she has healed from this last surgery. Michelle's said her neck is also infected and they put her on antibiotics for that and she goes back in one week to have her neck checked again. My heart is aching for my little girl. I just don't know what else to say but pray.

God, I am so sorry. She is just having the hardest time. I will continue my prayers and please tell Michelle not to feel hopeless! It is just a setback. Hugs to you both.

I am so sorry for all you are dealing with. I will continue to pray for both of you. I am sorry she needs another surgery, but this may offer her the freedom and relief she needs. Praying for healing of this infection in her neck and praying for a miracle for this tumor to shrink through God's healing touch. I believe in miracles.

Sweetie, I was hoping your post would be better news but this has got to be even more difficult than the first surgery for you all. I hardly know what to say either it is not fair. Someday we will understand all this but right now I know just how you are feeling. I will pray and since it is needed I hope they get to it and not have her sit around and yet I know it has to heal. Barbara I just wish I could give you hug but since I can't pretend I did . Fondly, Joan If there was only something we could do to help but it is in God's hands.

Putting her on our prayer chain at church. Saying specials prayers for her too.. I feel so bad for you all. Just give it God and he will heal. I believe in the power of prayer!

I'm so so sorry to hear such sad news. I was hoping to hear better news.

Oh no! I was sooo hoping for better news! Your story reminds me alot of my sister. I raised her from the time she was 9, after my mom died from breast cancer and she herself got it when she was only 22! Towards the end for her life - and she was 32 when she passed - the cancer had spread to her brain and it's so difficult! I do think it is easier to treat a cancer that is primary to the brain rather than a metastisized so I'm hoping that your daughter is able to have the strength to deal with what she has before her. It's not an easy road and I hope she is able to feel God's loving presence surround her and carry her thru this difficult journey ahead. She can do this! She is stronger than she thinks and she can also draw on the strength from those around her who love her. i will continue praying for both of you during this difficult time!
