I haven't been on YT really in the last 2 weeks - so I was saddened to read today about Michelle's continued problems. You all remain in my prayers. May God protect her and deliver her from this pain. Praying for a complete miracle healing.

Bless her heart, she has been through so much and all this waiting and not knowing is terrible.

I know it's terrible for you as her Mother. It's harder to watch them suffer than for us to suffer ourselves.

How far do you live from Michelle? I'm sure right now you're wishing you lived next door to her.

Thank you all for your prayers. We had some good news last night and Michelle got to go home. The drainage has stopped from her head and the doctors saw no sign of infection so they decided it would be okay for her to go home under the condition that if her head starts draining again she will come back to the hospital. She goes back to the doctor next Friday.

Michelle lives about a 2 1/2 hour drive from me so I don't get to see her as often as I would like.

Been thinking about you & Michelle, glad to hear you had some good news! Sometimes I just ask God for small miracles and looks like this would qualify! I hope he continues to give you small miracles (although a really big one would be pretty good too!)!

I'm happy to hear she got to go home! I know that means a lot to her. And good there's no signs of infection.
I hope that she will continue to improve everyday!

Michelle got very sick last night and David had to take her to the hospital. She was vomiting and her head and neck swelled up really bad then fluid started leaking again from her head. The doctors have ran cat scans again and are doing blood work. Michelle is in a lot of pain. There is a good chance they might have to go in and do surgery again. I will keep you all updated as I learn more. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers.

I've been following your thread and praying daily for your daughter and her family. I just have to say how sorry I am that she is going through so much pain. I know it must be so hard for a mother to watch helplessly while she endures so much!
Please know that we continue to pray and I wish we could offer more help in your family's continuing nightmare! Has a fund been set up? I don't get here as often as I would like, so I don't know if there is one I missed. It seems to me that life as you know it has stopped, and a little financial help would ease some continuing expenses, with gas being so high, and I'm sure her husband has lost time at work. Can we help?

Thank you for your kind words. Michelle and her husband are struggling financially and I try to help them as much as I can but it has been difficult since we are struggling too. Their church has been helping them some too. I really worry about how they will make it through the next surgery but I know God has a way to help us through hard times. Michelle's husband is under a lot of pressure trying to work and take care of Michelle and the boys. I don't know anything about setting up funds to help them. I don't think it is allowed on this forum. I know it costs a lot just for David to drive back and forth to the hospital. Thank you for your concerns. Everyone has been so supportive and that means so much to us. Michelle is strong and I just know she will beat this.

Right now Michelle is scheduled to have surgery in the morning to have the leak repaired. We do not know how extensive the surgery will be. It will depend on what they find. Michelle said there is a good chance she will get 'bumped' again if any emergencies come up, so she is more or less on standby like she was before. Her neck is still very swollen and she is feeling pretty bad. Your continued prayers are so greatly appreciated.
