Oh this is just heartbreaking!!!

I hope they can do the surgery well before Christmas and get Michelle on the path to healing.

You guys are in my thoughts and prayers frequently. Please do not hesitate to ask if there is anything you need.

Michelle is in our prayers as is your whole family !! I've gone through the same thing with the insurance. They will not pay for a Heart Transplant for me. I've fought for 7 years and will NEVER give up. Please keep us up to date on Michelles condition. Please tell her to keep fighting and that we are all behind her 200 %... Michelle went to the doctors today. They did two cat scans, one with clarity and one without. She does not have any infection but she does have water on the brain and that is what is causing the bulges Michelle is feeling in her head. They said that is normal to have that after brain surgery. The doctor told her if she wants to get well then she needs to have the next surgery as soon a possible but they have not set a specific time. Michelle is thinking is will be a couple more months and she is hoping after Christmas.

Michelle continues to not feel well, she still has bad headaches, and she may not improve that much more until they do the next surgery. Your continued prayers are so much appreciated.

I have a nice visit with Michelle yesterday. She is still having bad headaches and she is under tremendous stress just worrying about what lies ahead. I have attached a picture of Michelle and her youngest son, Shawn.

it is times like these that we wish we could do so much more to help. I am so sorry for what michelle is going through. It is a moms worst nightmare to fall ill and have the worry of leaving your children behind so I can only imagine how hard this must be for her. And for you to see your child suffering, i am so sorry. you, michelle and the rest of your family will be in my prayers. We dont always understand why god does the things he does but just trust in him and believe that he will heal her. *hugs*

Michelle looks like a sweet young woman. You can see the suffering in her face though. I'm still including her in my prayers each day. I hope all works out for her next surgery and that she will be able to have it sooner than later. Oh better yet, that God would heal her and no more surgery would be necessary.

I'm praying for her children too - that they will continue to grow as healthy strong children with unlimited love for their mom but no lasting memories or even experiences that will be too painful for them.

You are a great mom to share her need with others that you know believe God is able to handle this so we can all lift you and Michelle and the kids up before Him.

Yes, I can see the suffering in her eyes and face too and it hurts me to see her suffer. She was having a severe headache when the picture was taken and she still managed to smile. Thanks to you and all the other wonderful people praying for Michelle, I know the Lord will protect and heal her.

Well, the news is not good. The doctor's told Michelle she will need another surgery and the next surgery will be riskier than the last one. They will have to cut open the side of her head above her ear and try to get to the rest of the tumor. They said her tumor was much bigger than they had expect and that if they don't do this next surgery that it will continue to grow and kill her. Needless to say Michelle was very upset and me. We both cried on the phone. This just is not fair, we thought the worst was behind her. Michelle said she does not think she will live through another surgery. Hey sweetie i havent been on much lately...just read this....sorry to hear this about the next surgery.....my mom as i told you before had brain surgery in November...her tumor started behind her left ear and moved up to the middle....they went in behind her left eat...the incision was more than 6 inches long....it had healed just great....Dr. was wonderful...he is a christian...and there were 2 instances in the surgery when he felt his hand being moved to just the right place to continue in the surgery when he was ready to call in help....Mom told him she called in "HELP" for him....the nurses said at the time it was happening that the hair was standing straight up on the back of his neck.....Mom shouted in the recovery room...and had the whole place in tears......God has a reason for everything....just keep looking up....

Michelle went to the doctor today and they have decided to admit her to the hospital. Fluids had started draining out of her head at the top of her incision and the doctors want to check it out and make sure it is not brain fluid. Michelle's headaches still persist and they get worse as the fluid builds up. She especially did not want to get back into the hospital today since that hurricane may be heading our way. Thank you all for your prayers.

Cindy....thank you for sharing your story. I know this is in the Lord's hands and when the time is right he will be guiding the surgeon during the next surgery.

I just sat here and caught up on your daughter. I'm so sorry that things aren't going as well as we had all hoped Bless her heart, she has been through so much and all this waiting and not knowing is terrible.

I know it's terrible for you as her Mother. It's harder to watch them suffer than for us to suffer ourselves.

How far do you live from Michelle? I'm sure right now you're wishing you lived next door to her.

Please know that Michelle, her husband, sons and you are in my prayers.
