After you have registered for a YorkieTalk account and have activated the account, choose a forum to post in (General Yorkie Discussion, My Yorkie, anything but Yorkie News or a For Sale forum) from the following link:

Then click the BLUE New Thread button which is located above the list of current threads to start a new thread.

To reply to any thread, click the blue Reply button below the last post in a thread to post a new reply.

They are under the 200kb limit and are jpgs. I attached them, uploaded them...what's wrong?

They need to be under 200 kb, but you made the a little too small. I can link the first. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...ewerpuppy4.jpg and you can see you made this one under an inch. Six inches is a better size, and it will still be under 200kb.

I think you can upload them from a Mac, just like you upload them from a PC. Click on the "Manage Attachments" button and follow the directions. If you mean which program do you use for "editing pictures" or making them smaller, you should do a google for "Mac photo editing programs."

Have you tried it on the testing forum or the general forum? Sometimes that might happen on the “Site Suggestions / Comments / Questions” forum for non-donating member. Try it on the testing forum and let me know if it works. Test Forum - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community

i jsut tried it i am geting the same problem blank page when i click manage attachment.............thats for answering ......just love that i stumbled on this site just love it:)

Are you using a computer or a phone or ipad, I think it only works if you are using a computer.

That's strange, it should work, when I first click on "manage attachments" it's all white, but soon the lettering comes up and the options to upload. Another way to do it is to click on the little paperclip icon, above the message board, you could see if that works for you, but don’t do it here, do it on the test forum.

How to use albums
 
I posted pictures in Albums in my profile. How can I use them in a post or to direct another member to my album?

Also, how do you get different pictures like a slideshow to use in my avatar?

Here's a thread on making an animated avatar or slideshow. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ng-avatar.html. If you need any help, abbie's mom is making avatars for members. See this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tes...adas-avis.html.

To use your album pictures, click on a picture and it will take you to page that gives you two addresses. One address is called the "picuture url", copy and paste that address whenever you want the picture to show up as a link. Like this: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ctureid=114943

Copy the BB code, when you want the picture to show up as a picture on the profile pages, this only works on the profile pages not the main forum.

You may be having trouble attaching pictures because they are too big. A picture can't exceed the size limits of 200 kb, which is approximately a 6x8 inch picture. New cameras take pictures as big as 72 inches or more, so you must resize them before you upload them to Yorkietalk. I wrote a thread on how to upload pictures from the iPad, you have to use a photohosting size and it resizes the pictures for you. You computer probrobaly has a program on it to resize pictures, or there are lots of free programs available on the web.
