You can only delete posts you've made on someone's profile page, you can't delete posts on the regular forum. Moderators can delete posts that are breaking the YT rules.

I only have 18 pictures in my albums. I am trying to post updated pics of Toby and pics of my new additions, but it keeps telling me I have no more space. All of my pics are under 150 kb. Please let me know what to do. I really would like to share my babies pics with everyone in my albums. Thank you for all your help.

Have you considered becoming a donating member, you have about 10 times the amount of space in your albums. Another option is just posting a thread in the "My Yorkie Pictures Forum" there's no limit to the amount of pictures you can post. I got the application for photbucket and it makes it so much easier. You can even take a picture and upload it directly to photobucket, then link those pictures here. The default size works for me. This thread has more information: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...otos-ipad.html. To my knowledge YT doesn't have any way to upload photos directly from iPad, you need a photohosting site.

Fact is I don't have a digital camera other than my blackberry where all my pics of my dogs are in...or on Facebook. How do I get those pics onto this site? Is my phone considered a digital camera... :P Sorry for being so thick...!

I think all cameras that don't use film are considered digital cameras. When you upload a picture to Yorkietalk, it gives you an option of uploading them from your computer or from a website, where it says "Upload File from a URL". One way you do it is "right click on the picture on facebook and under "properties" it will give you the "web address" or URL, copy this and paste it in the section where it says "Upload File from Url". Thats what I did with the picture below, it's my facebook picture.

How did you get it right in this response box??? Also what in my profile do I click to get to upload a pic without changing my profile pic (that took my husband a while to do as he had to size down the photo a TON of times!)??? :confused:

Not exactly sure what you mean by your first question. but now that I think of it, on some of the forums. regular members can't upload pictures. You have to see the words "manage attachments" below the message board and click on that and then you will see this picture. Attachment 380580. I can practice in the test forum. You second question confuses many, there are two pictures, one is your profile picture that shows up ONLY on your profile page, you upload that here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pro...editprofilepic and it will tell you your size limits, which is less than 2 inches. Your avatar is the picture that shows up next to your name when you post and you upload that here: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pro...?do=editavatar Avatars have to be even smaller and for a regular member it can be no larger than 75 pixels, which is about 1 inch.

You might want to get a picture resizing program that resizes it to a certain size rather than a percentage, so you only have to resize them once. Newer cameras take huge pictures. There are lots of free programs on the web, or you can use a photohosting site like photobucket and they will resize the pictures for you.

what I had meant was how did you get that last pic on my thread there instead of only in the avatar, profile and albums? This site makes it complicated to upload pics. PERIOD. My avatar had to be sized and resized over and over to make it fit. 75 pixels didn't actually work. I have no idea what number did...but my husband played around and made it work. I'm not going to be bothering with pics for a while. Sooner or later I'll bother my husband again... Some people are just not computer savvy... I can navigate alright but that's all. I don't have the patience nor the desire. Luckily I have the husband...my best friend :D

Can pics be uploaded to a thread from a Motorola Xoom tablet? Have tried and won't work. Is it only computers used to upload pics? Need help!!

I can upload pictures from my iPad, but I use a third party photohosting place. You can get an application from Photobucket for your Motorola Xoom or find an application that works with your Motorola. i uploaded 5 pictures about 10 minutes ago in the group or forum called.i don't know something about post your pictures here and introduce yourself? ohh it is called " my yorkie pictures" it had a link to say how to post and i uploaded 5 in a folder called jobi. but when i went into that forum, i can't find them. i can only find the 21 pics on my profile..

Hello, I'm a newbie here, I managed to post my picture for my avatar, however when I go to upload a picture in a post, it only shows a box with a red X, My file size is 9.80KB and they are JPG File.

They are too small, they have to be over an inch before they will show up.

I would like to post pictures in my blog, I read the directions on how to post picture and have done so for my avatar. When read the words " Click on Manage Attachments and click on Choose to find the picture on your computer that you want to upload." I don't see such a button when I tried to edit my blog.

Yes you need a special program that combines several pictures into one file called a gif file if you want more than one picture showing. How do you upload 3 different pictures in a post? It keeps showing the same picture twice, even though I've uploaded two separate ones.

Not sure why it's doing that, you can practice on the test forum, make sure that the pictures have clearly different names, so that you are not accidently uploading the same picture twice and you can also upload them one at a time, by choosing the picture, chose the word upload, and then going to the next picture. It may also be a browser problem, I'm having the exact same problem at a photo hosting site called Photobucket and I've used it for years. Lol, restarting you computer seems to clear up many miscellaneous computer problems.

I think I got it to work this is my test post!!!
