This was posted with my iPhone 6. Tricky part was shrinking the file to be under 200 kilobytes. I had to do a screen shot of the high res but it was still too big. So I cropped it. voila! There must be an easier way to shrink phone photos.

This answer must be somewhere, but I can't find it, so I ask:
When I click on a thumbnail, a new window opens but does NOT show the enlarged photo. Is there a setting I need to change or ??? I am using Safari on a Mac.

Ya gotta disable adblocker to open the thumbnails...

How long after registering can I start to post pictures? It says right now: User uploads not allowed.

It was either a matter of a day or two.... scratch that, I think it's tied to the number of posts you make... make a dozen or more posts in various threads and try posting a photo along the way every so often.... your photos need to be 200kb or less though..... so, be prepared for that! :eek:

Looks like I am able to post pics here in the forums. I'll try again in a few days to make an album again, thank you.

I open mine in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, then choose edit and compress pictures, use compress to web pages or compress to documents.

Has anyone figured out how to upload more that one photo to YorkieTalk using an iPad? I'm able to upload one photo but if I upload a 2nd. photo it's replaces the 1st. photo. :( Anyone using an iPad experience this as well?

I use an iPhone and am subscribed to this thread because of the same problem. It was cooperatively investigated and the consensus is that yes- us Apple users are limited to one pic per post :(

Oh Wow! Thank you for the reply, I thought I was surely doing something wrong! Lol Having to add more photos by creating new posts becomes very annoying! Hopefully one day Apple will correct this! ;)

No problem- I felt the same way! What a pain. I would assume t isn't necessarily Apple but yorkie talks compatability with our 'server' or some word that means what I am trying to convey, lol. I am not much computer savvy myself. It would be nice if we could post three like everybody else, I always feel like such a hog when I multi post! Lol. Oh well, such is the way of things I suppose.

I tell you more about it in this thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...otos-ipad.html. Basically, you have to "upload" one at a time, but you can do this 4 times in each post.

I saw your question, but I don't know the answer, but you can always post at a third party photo posting site and directly link the pictures here. Photobucket is free and it's the one I use, but it's nice to have a site where your pictures are saved forever!

Do you know how to post a photo from a desktop computer? If so, the only thing different on an Android (I think!) is you have to know how to shrink the photo to meet the YT limit of 200 kilobytes. I do that on my IPhone by taking a screenshot of my high resolution picture, then cropping as much as possible to make the file even smaller.

The below pic was downloaded from my iPhone.

Now if you DON'T know how to post a picture: on a new message, scroll down to manage attachments and select the file.

That's weird, it usually resizes it if the picture is too small, sometimes it says that but it actually uploaded, but I see it hasn't uploaded.
