Well, he didn't cough much all day, but started his hacking a few times this evening again. While my husband and I were watching TV, he slept on the couch beside us and we could hear him snore/breathe.

So.....I can tell he's getting better but he's not getting better all at once (and I'm impatient! LOL.)

He did bring his toys to us and wag his tail to play a bunch tonight. We can definitely tell he's feeling better now that he's ready to be playful again. It's been a couple of days...we've missed his playfulness, for sure!!!

I haven't ruled out taking him to the vet, but I'm keeping a close eye on him to see how he does tomorrow.

I can't believe I missed this thread! I can't have my little buddy Sully sick. Glad he's getting back to himself. Maybe he had a little 24 hour "bird" flu. (that was supposed to be funny

) Update us today, he must rest up and get his strength back for the next great adventure.

Thanks for your concern, you guys! Sully seems to still be on the ups today...I've only heard him cough two or three times - and he's been playing with his toys at the office today like crazy. So I know I'm getting my fun little man back!

We're glad Sully is feeling better. It is always a good sign when they get their toys and want to play again.

do you know what i was thinking it could be an allergy when austin was little we had put there toys in a wiker basket and a day later he was coughing terribly i noticed everytime he went in there he had these coughing fits so i took it away and hes been fine since check to see if theres anything new around it could be that
