				   | I have a very strange question. Wes was neutered when he was about 8 months old. I always thought that they removed his testicles during that procedure. But sometimes he has these little lumps that appear and I just don't know what they are. I've heard of vets putting some sort of synthetic balls in there, but I thought they only did that if it was requested. I never requested that...would they put them in anyway? I'm including a picture so perhaps someone will be able to help me. |

				   | That is not his testies. It's called Bulbus Glandis. It enlarges and is held inside the female to "tie" them. I don't know why this happens even after they are neutered. Maybe they still have an urge to be randy?

				   | Glad to be of assistance! Is it weird that I have this knowledge? Actually I cheated. I have a book called "Dog Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook" I believe it's a must have book. It's full of information on various illnesses, diseases, first aid and much much more. Everytime one of my girls has a weird symptom I grab the book. It's full of book marks and has help me figure out what can wait and what needs immediate attention. If you don't have one get one.

				   | Huh I never knew there was an official name for it. I've noticed it in my dogs before and always thought it was because they really really had to potty. Always seemed to go away after going pp.

				   | Same here. Bailey and Tucker have those little knots at the base of their winkie sometimes in the morning before they have gone pee. Once they pee, the little knots go away. I've never really thought much about it before now.

Depending on your vet's opinion, you may be able to wait a bit longer to see if they drop.
