Don't feel guilty. I'm sure that you will be well-informed and make the decision that is best for Jack. That's what makes you such a great yorkie daddy! Eddie and Jack are lucky to have you. (well, except for all the moose and duck torture!)

Mike, we just wanted to let you know that Jack is in our thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated on his status - he is a strong boy and I know that when it comes time for surgery, he will do just fine.

What separates the good Yorkie owners from the GREAT Yorkie owners is the willingness to be open minded and to educate yourself about "all things Yorkie". Sounds like you are in the "GREAT Yorkie owner" category. We don't always make the right decisions, but we do make the best decisions with the information available.

If hindsight was foresight then we would never make mistakes.
