| HELP PLS... diarrohea mucous poo Hustler 8.5mo, has recently been having a case of diarrohea and i notice that there is some mucous in it as well. I've been reading that this could be a case of giardia or coccidia? I'm not even sure what those are =S Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to the vet within the next 24hours because of my school.. sigh.. are there any home remidies or solutions i could use in the meantime? I've read skinless chicken and white rice. Hustler doesnt like white rice so would brown rice be ok instead? And i don't have any meat in my house right now.. he's just been eating his kibble and some cesars and vegetables. My mom suggested to feed peeled, diced apples in the meantime to harden the poop.. i feel like i can't seem to do anything for him right now unless i go to the vet, which i am not able to do =S... ohh myyy.. this is making me worry and stress ontop of the stress i'm facing at school right now.. pls help.. i know you all understand this worrisome feeling.. |

| ok...calm down...everything will be fine....first you need to make sure he is drinking..the numberone thing is that he does get dehydrated!! can you go to the store and get pedialyte?? its the best to give them instead of water when they vomit or have diarrhea. as far as food...if he is eating his food normal i wouldnt worry about feeding him anything else ( i dont know about the apples that might work)...if he isnt eating..thats when you give him the chicken and rice...i am sure someone else will have more help soon....if you have any questions please ask...i am here...
