Well, lately it's been giving him problems. Yesterday, he was straining but unable to poop for about 2-3 hours. He refused treats. Didn't want to walk. A lump by his butt that is normally soft was hard. I took him to pet emergency, but in the lobby his symptoms vanished. The lump went down. He started accepting treats. Later, he was able to poop. I decided to wait until today to talk to my vet (waiting for a call back).
Anyway, my guess is he'll recommend the surgery. I didn't want to do it last year because it was so soon after his leg surgery, but now feels like a good time. I'll let you guys know what the vet says, but keep him in your thoughts. |
sending thoughts and prayers your way. I hope Jack is ok.
