My poor baby boy

He's not feeling well this evening, it started earlier today, he didn't seem to be eating very much but he's a picky eater so I didn't think to much of it. Then later this evening his tummy was upset, I could hear it gurgling and churning and then he had diarrhea 3 times and it has this slimey coating on it

he's just laying on my lap now and his eyes are so sad. I can tell he's feeling bad and it makes me feel bad

I called my vet even though office hours are closed, I actually woke him up out of bed

he said to give him some ant-diarrhea medication for small dogs and bring him in first thing tomorrow morning. I don't know what could be wrong with him, the only thing I can think of possibly would be worms from ingesting a flea from outside while we are on our walks or something. He's on flea medication and heartgard so I can't think of what else it might be. I just worry so over him, he's so petite and tiny and when he gets sick it just worries me

Please keep him in your prayers! I'm going to stay up tonight and watch over him just in case he needs anything...

So sorry to hear this Joy I Hope he feels better soon. I hope it is nothing. Maybe just a upset tummy. It happens. I will say a prayer for him.
Good luck at the vets. OH and maybe bring a sample for him.

Thank you Lori! I'm going to bring a fecal sample so they can run a fecal check on him. I pray it's nothing at all and at the worst case maybe just some kind of harmless worm or something...I get so worried about him

I bet you do lil guy I know I worry too. and with lil jewlina to still getting her immune system up.Good luck.

Wow, there is really a lot of this going around. So many dogs have had the same symptoms - one of mine, too. Is yours throwing up at all? They checked a stool sample too and Kaya has too much of a certain bacteria and it's making her sick. So she's on antibiotics and benadryl.

I hope yours will be just fine - try not to worry too much. I'm glad you've got a vet appt. tomorrow.

Oh my! No he hasn't thrown up yet, I'll keep praying that he doesn't, whenever he pukes it's normally this yellow bile and it's so hard on him it's like he's exhausted when he's done

The only thing I can think of is, I recently had to make a trip up to SC and we stopped at a few rest areas to let him walk around and go to the bathroom since it's a long trip. I don't know if he could've gotten bit by something or stepped in something

The strange thing is, my little girl Jewelina was with us as well and she hasn't had any problems at all....

*Sigh* I will be so glad when the morning is here and we can go to the vet...

Well, I think I'm going to get off here and go get some Coffee to keep myself awake. Jewelina is sleeping soundly in bed and Jaden is sleeping on my lap. He wakes up every few minutes and just looks at me like "Mommy, I don't feel good, please make it better"

He's still drinking water if I give it to him in a dropper and ate a tiny bit of formula and some nutrical. Only 8 more hours until we can go to the vet...I hope they'll go by fast for Jaden.
