I am glad the pharmacy will pay for all things in the future, you should get that in writing in case you need it years down the road.

Again, I am so sorry this is happening to you! Hope you get to bring her home today!

OMG! i too have had a 'thing' with a pharmacy who gave me penicillin for my son who is allergic to it!!!! Im glad they paid the bill and i so hope your baby is ok!

0MG!! I just saw this thread!! I am sooo sorry to hear you and your little Daisy are going through this! We worry so much about our little ones and put their health in the ones that we "think" we can trust. What if this had been child!!

I am so glad to hear she is doing better..And with the Pharmacist paying the bill at least that's one thing you don't have to worry about...You could have made this much worse for him...I pray

for a quick recovery with no after effects!!

Well she is doing great this morning i thought they were supposed to take blood at 7 am but it's not till tonight at 8 pm or i can take her tomarrow and Tuesday. The good news is i can bring her home. We will be leaving here shortley to go get her. She has been a little trooper! We are in the clear for thr neurological effects so she doesn't have any brain damage and her liver results have been really good so we are hoping no damage there either. Thank you all i know it helped her having you guys in her corner i know it got me through this so thank you all again. We will know for sure on Tuesday if her liver is ok but i think she will be just fine

Oh a big sigh of relief here. Daisy is a trooper for sure and so is her mommy. I bet Peeka is going to go crazy when he sees her. LOL...Poor thing will really get humped on now.

Hehehe Amber do you continue to give her the flagyl now for the Giardia or is it too dangerous since she got such a high dose of it at once? Did they put her on something else to help get rid of it. You dont have any standing water anywhere that she could be drinking out of? I guess it would be frozen if there was so that couldnt be why it is getting worse. Well I am just thrilled that she bounced right back and gets to go home and be with the family.

Well she can not have the flagyl for at least a week but the poison control recomended to never give it to her again so i don't know how i am going to get rid of the giardia? No there is no free standing water here and she is in the house all the time except to go potty i just think the meds that the vet gave her the first time didn't do anything and thats why it got worse.
