| Amber - this is great news. Unfortunately Giardia can be a bear to get rid of. When Sissy had it the vet said that any kind of stress can cause a trace amount to become a ton!! Sissy went through two rounds of meds (over a month) before she was in the clear. Is there any other type of medication they can use and is there a chance it will clear without meds?? Try this website and contact Dr. Jeff, who is a holistic vet. Perhaps he can help with suggestions.....http://homevet.com/index2.html#vet Please give little Daisy a big kiss from Sissy and Angel and then give Peeka and yourself one too!!!!

| Ask the vet if a probiotic like Activia, florstar, or acidophallis would be ok to give her. It's good gut bacteria. |

| I am so glad she is home! And doing fine....Do you have a holistic vet clinic around you? I would check into alternative medicine for her, it might be safer at this point. Hugs...

| I don't know how I missed this thread until this afternoon but I did! I just got done reading the entire 10 pages of posts and rode the emotional roller coaster the whole way. Panic, disgust, fear, sadness, hopeful and thankfully ending in elation!!!! I am sooooo happy to read that she is home and happy. This is such a scary thing to have happened and I think we can all consider it a lesson learned. Get some rest and enjoy your babies!
